The Direction des Postes et Télécommunications building in Moroni served as the administrative head office for postal services, telegraphs, and telecommunication networks throughout the islands. Constructed to support the territory's expanding connectivity needs, the facility symbolized modern civic administration following the transfer of the capital to Moroni. Designed by P. Lambert, this 15-franc blue-bordered postage stamp (POSTES) depicts the sleek modern post office structure, showcasing distinct pointed arches along its grand façade.
